last night was bizarre here -- could see tons of lightning out on the coast (over the ocean), but it was too far away to hear it -- and while it was 74° around 10:30 last night, this morning at 5:30 it was 83°. i thought things were supposed to cool DOWN at night? so strange... but hopefully this is the last day of the really hideous heat.

Last night AccuWeather said 87 now its saying 92. Ugh it did not cool down well last night.

The baby quail are whimps. No one else are using heat but they huddle and whine unless its 99. 95 just won't do!

Jason - I have had 2 wrong way pippers recently. Both hatched on their own and are fine. The last one was under my wellie broody.

It's kind of funny, in years of hatching, I never had any and now I've had 2 of them.

2 hatched and a crele is pipping but the wrong wayer still is in the shell alive in the same state. I cracked the shell a bit more to help lets see what happens
luckily with the r-com if you open it quick the humidity is still good and recovers almost instantly when closed

question. has anyone every tried to reactivate a canceled website that was someone else's. Trying to get to where you can email a question on yahoo is a challenge to say the least.
The skinny
The Penedesenca usa club owner let the website expire and now no one can contact him.
not sure if he passed away. I want to start another website do to all the info however site solutions on yahoo will not let me and there is no where to ask if this can be done or transferred any other way.

Options:

Use Acrobat to pdf the site and then recreate the site from it.
Front Page used to grab a site but that works with static sites. Dynamic sites are tougher since they are database driven

Did the URL Registration expire or are you going to register a new host?

i guess it expired . was paid for for 5 years.
i can not find the site anywhere except when i try to reactivate it they said it was canceled by another user and they have to reactivate it. i am on hold with yahoo i found a customer care number

I agree with missing Northern Monterey County(Castroville, over the county line from Watsonville). I could never have bought property there.. I owned a mobile home in Monte Del Lago for twenty years. I DID own a very small house in Seaside for 9 years, sold it for 50k in 1987.

I am still very much a coastal kinda gal, miserable at temps above 80. This week is especially hard on me.

I know Seaside well. My father owned a house there. If I didn't own so may chickens I would have gone down and stayed with my son for 4 days Yes, I too am having a hard time with this weather. I take cold showers 2 times a day.

If you can't take it over, try using Google cached sites or the Way Back Machine. Odd code can come in but that can be cleaned up.

I hope you can get the site back!
