Seems the girls don't like all this smoke either, egg production has been cut in half. They even cooped up an hour earlier than usual yesterday evening.
Colors are amazing but it would be nice to breathe!

Hope little campine is full of vigor this morning.

Last nights candeling wasn't great. I think our recent heat wave has affected fertility or eggs got overly warm before I got to them. I did bring them inside where it's about 77° but not as much veining as I saw earlier in the year. I left them under the girls and will check again in a few days with new batteries.

Awww, what a cutie. Looks like he is trying to count already! My grand-daughter will be two next month and she loves animals.

all three look great, thank you! happy to hear them all peeping away from inside mom's wings -- particular as we're fogged in this morning and it's quite chilly! but the moms seem to be getting into the swing of mom-hood now.
