Thanks :) I didn't realize how bad they looked when I first got them till I looked back at the pics. They're so pretty now it's like every feather has its perfect place.
 
Have any of you guys noticed you always lose your favorite birds to predators?

it's never the hen that's a pecker or the weird acting ones (not that I want them to be eaten but I'm just trying to make a point lol)

It's always the favorites. The hens you can walk up to and pet like a cat. Or the ones with the funniest personalities.

i can sympathize, somewhat -- of the five i lost this summer, three were young isbar and isbar-cross pullets that i was SO excited about, and one was my beloved Daisy -- the fifth was a girl, Maggie, who was very sweet but not a real personality. so, 4 out of 5, yes, totally agree that they seem to sense the favorites somehow...
