That works for me.
I am still thinking about the quail eggs from chiqita for New Years, but I wanted all Cots. I don't know what a mix of Cots and Italians will give me....?
I get one with a soft shell every once in a while. They were more common when they start up after a molt.anyone ever get shell less eggs? SO weird. I get 1 several times a month.
Oh well, see! I have no clue. I was just wanting the ones that mature at 6 weeks and in relative to Quail, somewhat calmer. They are all coturnix. Italian is the color.pharoah and italian. Keep the Pharoah and sell or eat the golds if you don't want them.
If your really worried I can see if I can pull the Italians into their own spot after thanksgiving.
Assuming you want some. There is still the in house issue.
yes you are great at your angles and the fall color just make them beauties pop!
Yes The video worked very nicely! Great audio too.Chicken Video!!! Bab's was in the nest box so she's not pictured.

ha ha yes I know.not many people realize what it takes to get good shots like that. When i was doing my babies they would craw towards the camera lol mommy had to be mobile.
I have been getting several of them in the last few weeks. I only have 2 hens laying right now so I have only been getting 1 normal egg a day. I still use the shell-less ones if they don't break and eat them before I get to them. I started on fermented feed this week with them and got my first egg with a shell from that hen today. It was thin, but had a shell! They have been getting oyster shell all along so not sure if the FF feed is responsible or if she would have laid a more normal one anyway....anyone ever get shell less eggs? SO weird. I get 1 several times a month.
