Has anyone here kept pigeons with chickens?

Ours are flightless so I would not. I've read of others that did with bantams. Some times it worked some times it didn't.

Growing up, my cousin had pigeons on one side of a barn and chickens on the other. They were not together.

They can catch stuff from chicken poo not adviaible .

I currently have a pair of pigeons as well as a pair of ringneck doves loose with my flock. I'm sure I'm asking for trouble but I like to think I'm hedging my bet by keeping the number of birds per square foot way down.
I used to worry about the chickens attacking the pigeons or doves but they pretty much ignore one another. Except when the male pigeon is defending his "woman" against a ferocious old English game bantam that wanted to lay her egg in the same place. They were ripping feathers out of each daily for a bit. I think because they were so close in size too.
I did make sure the dove/pigeon food was difficult for the chickens to access.

Hey there, im in Foresthill, Ca (small mountain town) I am desperatly looking for several different breeds; D'uccles (I already have mille so pretty much any other color), a dutch bantam hen (preferably splash or blue) Seramas (any color), splash or lav. I've got some seramas under a broody right now as well as an Amercauna and Silkie which I'm sure are from a D'Uccle roo. I'm in Sac. PM me if you want a road trip. They should be hatching in a week.

@fortyfivefarm ...I may have missed your response to my question but I was wondering. When you said that your Dels and Coros hatched the best do the "Coros"= coronation sussex? Not ready at this point but they are on my "to hatch" list.
