Wow!. The seller says she is happy with keeping them so would not sell for less than $8 each. I have more of her eggs in the incubator ans she is going to bring more up to set tomorrow. Thanks for the feedback everyone!
Anyone ever use a redwood incubator? Are they easy to fix if something isn't working? Here is one that looks interesting.

I'm trying to talk George into coming to Karen's chicken party 5/18. Maybe he can talk to Mario about retrofitting our hatcher. My hatcher does not have the metal frame. I has metal on the sides that hold the sides of the removable metal trays. We made a tray insert that I pushed to roll the eggs but it did not work well so it's back to the drawing board for us. Hand turning by raising the end of the tray up and down is working okay but if I'm gone for the day it only happens in the AM and the PM.No where the trays go into the cabinet. A incubator has all the trays on a metal frame and Tilts all the trays on the frame. Setting up a motor for that would not be a horrible job but if you need the metal frame anyway just buy the whole set. If you dont need the frame it could even be set up to do it by hand outside fairly easily without fussing with a motor or opening up.
Speaking of all the chicken! Chores I think I need to treat everyone for cocci. I have what I think is a sympomatic silkie (hard to see a puffed up silkie) . Have not heard From davis so not sure if that is it but with corid better safe then sorry. Here is the kicker however.
I can't treat the main coop with the water. They drink from a lot of other places like the duck pond. Can I hand dose with liquid corid? If so how much? It seems like I would have more control that way.
Sorry Debi..............I have to treat for mites here. 2 of my roosters have leg mites so everyone will get treated I guess. I think Aaron is coming today so I will put him to work with me.
Don't you hate those treat all the birds at one time kind of chores?!!! What do you use for leg mites? Mine have never had them but I'm sure the day is coming.
