We had a feral peacock who liked to hang out with the farm chickens, but he would never go in the pen. It was rather small with a very low wired roof. (The chickens always free ranged.) So I'm thinking maybe your peafowl could be excluded from the pen, after you get it covered of course, by closing off the opening except for a small chicken-sized opening. You could even make a low, narrow chicken tunnel with a 90º turn. I'm thinking a large bird wouldn't want to try crawling through an opening that is a tight squeeze, especially when they can't see through to the end. Maybe try it out of cardboard first to see if it works. Hopefully the chickens can learn the maze quickly.

This is another great idea. I just don't have a design brain so I appreciate those of you who do and take the time to share with me.

Tolbunt polish! Ha ha! I'd love the frizzle. Maybe it'd make my white frizzle cochin (Chrissy, short for Chrysanthemum) not to look to so out of place.

BCollie, she's gorgeous, polish have a hard time up here with all the birds of prey, her coloring makes it so tempting.

5 happy ducks from the crazy duck hatch too! everyone seems to be doing well now. MANY SHOWGIRLS! Peaches and flame went wild!!! I got almost all showgirls this hatch!

Here arey brooders. I have the brinseas set up , but DH put an outlet if I want to use heat lamps too.
The grow out pens are nice, will get a pic when they're done.

Thank you everyone for the comments on my new hen, she really is gorgeous. I wish I could have a roo here so they could make little Tolbunt Polish babies.
