Ohhhhhhhhhhh, I get it. And to think I was an accountant type for 30 years. I knew I was doing something wrong!

I think I understood what you meant by your dimensions. It would be around 85 square feet. If it were square, 10x10=100. Each quarter is 25, a quarter of that is around 6, you're losing half of each of those four times for the shape, around 12. So approximately 100-12 = 88.

Rounding all the numbers to make it easier in my head.

Genius! Thank you. Not only do I have plenty of room for them now but I can afford about 8 more ducks and really 10 wouldn't be horrible but 8-10 more tips. Perfect! If I did my math right. Haha! Excuse my typos. Sent from my iPhone.

Some randoms from today :) Warning...a duck mating pictures lol. I was like...my poor duck!

my 2 geese- Chuck and Sarah

One of my big hennies. She is 21 or 22 weeks old.

Marans! BUT in with my BC Marans I have a BCM/Black Orp mix of 2 pullets and 2 cockerels. I totally lost track of who is who. I will wait until they feather out to see who is the mutt and who isn't.

One of my Marans pullets.

Petra dozing

Petra shaking out her feathers.

MoMo shaking out his.

Pip my aggressive drake mounting Petra. Poor Petra. Robyn is watching from the sidelines. Weirdo.

This is the victory lap. They do it everytime. In 15 minutes I have seen Pip mate 5 times before. Crazy!

Sorry for the pic over load. I took out my big camera and it was a nice birthday treat to go shoot something with it. My iPhone has been my constant companion. My mil is buying pizza for supper so I don't have to cook. (she eats suppers with us too) Nice treat! Marie Callender pies for dessert. YUM. How is everyone today? I am loving all the pics of the pippings and hatchlings!

My chickens got their first free ranging taste today. They are a bit skittish about it. In and out of the coop. I know they will get more adventurous. For being so freaking hefty those Orps sure can catch some air! My hen got no joke more than 3 feet of air! CRAZY!

Well it was bound to happen--I got a notice to re home my roosters.

If anyone wants a Cream Legbar breeding trio, Dorking cockerel let me know.

If Megan does not want my EO Basque cockerel he is available too.

Lucas has first dibs on my Marans breeding trio, but if he can't get them then they are available too.

It was fun while it lasted. Actually it was longer than I thought it would be. Any of them left by Sunday will go to freezer camp.
