California - Northern

Id love to help you out with the blue/gold Brahma project. Those are my second favorite chicken variety period!
I love hatching chicks, AND I just converted my old 1st coop into a brooder. So I have a brooder now I can fit about 75 chicks into.
I just finished building a 8x8 hoop coop and I started the 10x10 today. So I have lots of room to house. I ha e total 5 acres I can play with.
I was going to order 50 EO chicks from James Meeks this coming month. But I'd be more than willing to hold off from getting anymore chicks to start in this project.
8x8

10x10 in construction....

Looks great. Can you PM me?

Can I vote if I'm not a member of facebook?

Deb
I don't think so. You need a FB account to like their page then have access to the voting panel. But thank you! <3 I really want to win the predator thing! I enter these fairly frequently - I got a vinegar making kit one time! hehe I just want THE big one and I can only get that one if my pic gets the most votes. Most of my FB friends won't go like a chicken page LOL to do this for me. Whateverrrr. :P

I'm taking a break from hatching for 6 months....or at least that's the plan (I need to slow down and concentrate of improving my health)

I'm looking for trustworthy, honest hatchers/breeders that would be interested in hatching and raising some of the birds I breed. There will be an agreement to split the birds once they can be determined for quality.

Is anyone interested or know of someone that would like to partner in this way?

I'm looking for experienced hatchers, people that are passionate about improving the breeds I have and have a strong sense of integrity.

And of course love having FUN!

I'm glad you're taking a break - you'll be back in the swing of things before you know it.

I don't have a lot of experience, but I would really love to help. I've got the room and the time.

The penciled rocks are beautiful! Hope the chicks are doing well!

the chicks are 2 weeks old today and all doing well (if messy/noisy/obnoxious!) -- although am pretty sure that 3 of the 6 are boys, if not 4... Changes Will Be Made.

and Cheryl, wow, LOTS of spotted chickens!! so fabulous!
