Self blue is lavendar. you also want AMERICIAN orphs, not ENGLISH orphs. theya re more of a challenge to find, but its worth it! Lisa might have some too,Oops, I thought you said Blue was recognized? Maybe this one is more lavender? She might have a black one I'll ask her. This is our first year showing as you can probably tell, lol.![]()
Plenty of people over in the Imported English Orpington thread are showing their birds here in the States and doing very well with them (they certainly come closer to the SOP than hatchery stock).

yes, its tough!
