California - Northern

well keep in mind it only grows where it has moisture but not too wet. only way to be sure is too trench around it and add a barrier. like pond liner . go down about 18" to 2 feet but if you plant it somewhere with some drip emitters it should stay in check. I love it thou. it can grow where ever it wants

Can they live here in Tahoe? A portion of my yard is an ancient river bed and holds moisture Nicely but elevation and snow???
I Love those Plymouth White rocks! I'm getting some chicks soon!

My fav in the layer coop is our bantam Colombian Rock. She is an angel!!! She was a "pair" but her boyfriend was so obnoxious we scratched breeding plans for them and kept her for the layers...

That is a real fear of mine--making a flood during the drought. Also, we are on a meter now.

Gahhh! I'm wondering about this summers bill. We finally got stuck with a meter (right in the middle of the front lawn- never
Mind the huge easement with forest service land available

When the water meter was installed, The City gave us a year of billing without the meter to see what the bill would be with usage. We were fine but some houses in town had bills with usage that were between 300 and a $1000.00. This gave those with leaks time to get them fixed.

It is amazing how much water a leaking toilette can waste. Others had under ground leaks. The City sent someone out to help with figuring out where the leaks were and then the home owner could either fix the leaks with kits that the city gave them or hire someone for major leaks. Woodland is also giving out soil moisture meters so that we can install them to help with watering only when the soil is dry.

The City of Woodland saved a lot of water with meters.

bresse eat a lot too.
I still say my fat ans sassy marans win the piggy award!

Pleaseee i would love some showgirls! Either eggs or chicks just tell me when either or are available and i will be there!
Showgirl eggs can produce silkies and showgirls, so it depends on what risks you are willing to take, give me a PM and I can go over it with you. I'm expecting less strippers this year due to less clean neck breeding.
Let me see if I have any pics in my BCY picture bank...
