I have a question, we were noticing today that some of our Australorps have very dark eyes (almost black) and then we have some with yellow gold eyes with black pupils..... what are Australorps supposed to have? Also, we have one that is only growing one waddle, the other one is just staying up there king of wrinkled...lol

Dark Brown to black.

You likely have something else though. Feed stores often call any black chick an Australorp.

Post pictures!

I will see if I can get some good pictures of their eyes, and them just in general... they all look the same... what could I have? Australorps with yellow gold eyes?

Black Star or something similar. It depends on what feed store and hatchery the feed store used.

Added: the comb could indicate an EE too.

Anyone interested in a trio of Old English game bantams?

They were a project of mine (attempting to breed toward cuckoo), but unfortunately, I no longer have the space for them. The rooster is the sweetest thing toward people, I chose to keep him especially for that trait, but fiercely protective of his hens, who are sweet, and quite docile.

I'm hoping they go to someone who will enjoy them, which is why I am posting them here, as well as CL.

I am asking $30 for the trio. Please PM me.
