Modesto milling and Bar Ale may be available near you. If you go to their website, you can search for feed stores that sell their feed in your area.

After looking at both sites I think Modesto milling has more what I am looking for. I may have to take the trailer down there and load up.

I Particularly like this:

Use: Modesto Milling has created an 18% protein layer mix that is half whole grains (wheat, peas, red milo, barley, oats, black oil sunflower seeds). We know there are a number of folks who prefer to feed whole grains to their chickens. They want their backyard flock to eat the grain just as it was harvested from the field. In addition to raw grains, all the loose ingredients are blended with alfalfa and flax seed which makes a nice green pellet which adds to the eye appeal and stimulates the hen to eat while reducing waste.

You should be able to get the feed somewhere local to you. I have been able to have Higbys feed store in Dixon order Modesto Milling feed for me.

I get my feed at Modesto milling
I get the non gmo no soy layer pellets
And a bag of scratch. I find if I feed my chickens the mix they end up scattering it all over trying to get the grains they want and they don't eat the pellets.
