Welcome ArtistActivis and MyPeeps&Me! I am in Healdsburg, so a bit further North than you all... And the weather is still not any better today! ARGH! Good thing I have at least one bird enjoying this..my Wheaten Ameraucana pullet who loves to play in the mud! Silly bird! Maybe I'll have to call her "Duckie".

Hi Kim,

I found a place called Azure Drop that sells a non soy organic chicken feed--$28.00 for 50 pounds. It comes out of Washington and delivers to a Drop site in Elk Grove. It's kind of far but I might order from them.

I promised my husband that I won't bring anymore home unless they'll be itsy bitsy bantams. We even have more people wanting eggs than our girls will pop out, but we have to balance the space of a suburban backyard. It is so hard to sit on my hands!
