I ran outside and got my feet cold for ya!

Pretty girls! and boys. They want snow I can tell.

38° here on Sonoma Mtn, so no snow, but very cold rain. chickens disappointed, but cats all asleep by the woodstove. this was finals week at school, and i haven't been able to keep up with this chattery place at ALL -- still have some grading to do, but at least things are calming down...

I thought it was cold here in Oakland today and it's only 50ish degrees! We got some light rain this afternoon, it's getting dark now, our lows should be around 38 degrees tonight.

The chickens don't seem too happy with the rain but my Saxonies LOVE the wet weather. Silly ducks. Their goofy antics make doing chores out in the wet and cold a little bit more bearable.

Ducks love the rain, I think they all want to move to Seattle. Oregon could be overrun wiht ducks if they knew thier way there.

Your chickens are beautiful! And that rooster is very impressive. Maybe someday I can have a rooster too.
