Ummm... Pink?

Its really hard to tell from that picture - it might be "blue" - which is actually a grey - are those pink areas just a reflection from the background - or does it have different colored feathers?

Juststruttin I've got to ask, where did you get the Pyncheon? I got an order form from Privett Hatchery and they have them but minimum order is 30 straight run chicks. I'd get 29 boys.

I bought hatching eggs on Ebay. I paid $100 for 10 eggs and hatched 1 chick. Thankfully she was a girl!!

LOL, pink. Must be the red in the background. Its feathers are different colors, blackish, greyish, and brown...ish. It doesn't look like the partridge photos I've seen though. It came from a paint and a black, I think.

Its so overcast today, the coloring in the photos is a bit off I suppose.

Just finished candleing. BLRW's look right on track, didn't see anything in the orp or rock bantams, DRATS!!! Was really hoping Fred and Coal were doing there thing. Oh well, could just be their age, I have no idea how old they are.

What kind of feed do they eat? 

We feed ours mostly pheasent feed that is high protein. There is some debate on that and some people feed lower once they are grown.

But I use pheasent to supplement the girls and turkeys too so everyone is happy.
