I would see if Jeff will incubate them. She may not sit on them for long after the main hatch and Marans often go a day or two longer.

Sorry to hear about Samson!

I am still waiting to hear from The Roseville Marans Breeder....
Thanks! Jeff so so kindly said he would. Ahh he is so kind!

Good evening everybody. I am looking for an NJG roo if anybody has one they would like to send off
to a good home. We had a breeder dump some chicks on us at the beginning of winter and five of the eleven survived and are all hens. Now I need a roo to get the count up in spring.

I am in Hornbrook area just south of the Or border by six miles or so and depending on the location I am happy to drive to pick it up or fly out if it is over 50 mile or so.

You can send me a pm if you have or hear of one.

Thanks

I knew when I posted that it was going to be confusing.

I'm not looking for JG but someone else in No CA was. I couldn't find their posting to address it directly.

I've been sending PM to feathers4fun on what paperwork we might need to get our birds over the border.

Was chkndaddy the one you were looking for? His post is about 10 days back..

I've missed a lot because we've been gone for several days and I'm trying to get caught up on this thread. Just got back from AZ tonight...what a long drive there and back! Glad to be home...lost one chicken while I was gone. Of course it was one of my favorites, but other than that the trip went well.

We took the kids to see the grandparents who live in the "middle of nowhere" but have great views of the desert...the Grand Canyon is just over this "mountain" in their "back yard".

Welcome back! We took a trip to AZ during Christmas break and made a quick stop at the Grand Canyon! It was a beautiful clear day and the views were amazing! We also went to visit Grandparents in Mesa. We also lost 1 bird while we were gone and it was my favorite. Crazy similarities!
