Denegard is expensive and takes time to be shipped to you. It is a good thing to have if needed and could be on saved on a shelf. It would be a good thing to buy as a group for those living close enough to divide it amongst several people.

Chicken supplies co op? They have them in Oregon through the Grange?

I've hatched them together with no issue. You just have to set them at the right time so you coordinate the hatch days.

Hey!!!!!! What's not cute about this?

and this?

even if now and then they end up like this? LOL

anyone want a SG roo????
Thanks, Deb! They are adorable even the little roo!

Quote: You can give both the probiotic and Duramycin-10 to her. Once you start the duramycin-10 you need to finish the treatment before switching to Denegard. If she has weepy eyes and nasal discharge you can treat her with it.

About the oregano...for internal ingestion first verify its source. I have only found DoTerra to be pure therapeutic grade essential oils. Every time someone around here shows starts of a cold I'm after them with the oregano! It's very harsh on the skin though so the best place to apply is the feet since they have the largest pores. A swipe a few times a day. I love keeping the birds in mind too. So cool!
Essential oils are almost all expensive to produce. So most of them are massivly diluted. So they don't work. Always research where you get em. Some this gas its easier to make yourself, or your better using a tincture. Of course you have to resech what you can use a tincture for! They can do amazing things however especially with emotional issues. That part of the brain is especially open to smell stuff.

Its the orange eye and the red under the chin that is so scary. Did I ever post a photo of that black roo? I dun remember.

My handsome FBCM roo went after me again today. I don't know why ME all the time. Geez. I am 5 7 so not tiny or anything. Because of this issue- it makes me nervous when my 4 yo runs around outside. He has never gone after her but who knows if he might. Nothing to stop him if he willing to go after me. Once caught he is gentle as can be and is wonderful to the ladies. He's been our pet so we cannot eat him. I've already rehomed 2 pet drakes this past week. Now I have to rehome our gorgeous Marans roo. WAHHHHHHHHHHHHH. I dislike this part of bird rearing.

I just needed to whine a minute.

My goodness this thread is crazy fast. Like 10 pages since I was on yesterday.

I read someone has a sick chicken? :( Hope they respond well to the meds!

And I won't bore you with a lot of personal stuff but my husband has had some heart issues lately and earlier this week he was in the hospital with it. So I've been really preoccupied physically and mentally. The weekend was just busy and then this all happened. I will try to keep up now though. Everything seems to be ok for now.

I am so sorry! He is a great looking Roo. Do you think you have any replacements?
