Congratulations!wow, thanks!!! i had no idea!!
A pip today is correct. Most of them will hatch tomorrow and then stragglers could go until Friday.I walked by and looked in the bator about noon today, I have a pip! Ron was kind enough to send me a hatch chart so I could get it right, they should be doing this tomorrow. Oh well, guess I'll have a few different stages for MIL's birthday party. Maybe next time I'll print the chart for them.
Three were hatched this morning--one blue and two black Australorps. I had 4 or for with pips so I expect to see more when I get home. How are the saw dust packed eggs going?

Yeah the legs are just every where, from underneath to sprawled to the side. I tried to uncurl the toes and was partially successful, The biggest issue is that it can't pick itself up off of the floor. It lays there peeping it's little head off unable to stand. We had another chick hatch with splayed legs that couldn't walk right at first but it's fine now. I'm just happy the hatch has gone as well as it has. My fingers are crossed for everyone else hatches.![]()
