Yeah the legs are just every where, from underneath to sprawled to the side. I tried to uncurl the toes and was partially successful, The biggest issue is that it can't pick itself up off of the floor. It lays there peeping it's little head off unable to stand. We had another chick hatch with splayed legs that couldn't walk right at first but it's fine now. I'm just happy the hatch has gone as well as it has. My fingers are crossed for everyone else hatches.

Thank You! For me a hatch is successful If I get more than one to hatch. With the BAs I already have three!

Yes, Black, Blue and Splash Australorps are hatching now. When I got home, two more had just hatched--still wet and cranky and the humidity was up in the hatcher. I see two more pips and one is working on getting out. Five BAs so far!

The egg from the splash pen could be black or blue but I hope it will be splash! That would be my third breed that was splash...

x lost count lol
Jason, Front Yard Nursery always carries Pineapple tomatoes and usually has Bull's Heart. I've never seen the other. I really like Rainbow too.
yep that is what reminded me. Health kick is a super healthy roma
Three were hatched this morning--one blue and two black Australorps. I had 4 or for with pips so I expect to see more when I get home.

Jasons hatch is going well too--8 of 9 Blue egg layers are developing. My Tissue packed package:

Has 2 of 6 Blue egg layers developing and 4 of 5 Blue Wandotte Bantams developing. I think I might even get several Black Penedesencas to hatch next week.

Today, a very lovely lady got in touch with me to inquire about Orpington pullets. She currently has only 2 chickens, and very interested in adding some pullets or young adults to her tiny flock.

If you have any pullets, or young adults that you are looking to sell to a good home, please PM me so I can give you her contact information.

Last year I had a shipment of broken eggs. I was told to expect a replacement soon. This year I called and was told last years records were boxed up and what did I order? I told him and he said: expect a shipment soon. That was a month ago.

I feel your pain....

PM'd you! We have brown layers we are looking for homes for, but we need to make sure they're all healthy first

. Saw you're in Penngrove, so are we! I was just talking to Chiquta about doing a meet-up sometime. Would anyone else be interested in that? I'd welcome people at my house, or we could do it closer to Novato at a park or something. I know Shanti, Laura, Deann and some others are pretty close.

Got 3 silkie chicks and 1 Marans from Chiquta today! The cuteness... way too much. They're so sweet. They seem to be doing well so far. I think they miss their mama Floppy Comb, though. I might get them a feather duster.

I'm so excited to hear of all the hatches going on! Congratulations to all the new chickies and good wishes for everyone still in the shell. Hope the twisty foot baby gets well soon.
