Quote: If the EE is a Hatchery boy he may be mean. Mean Roosters become soup(or find someone that wants a rooster) and are not allowed!
You will need to see. Sometimes they will become aggressive, which is common during their teen age years. You need to see which one is the nicest.

My quotes aren't working..............so..............
Yes, those are fertile eggs and eating fertile eggs is no different. In fact, people pay extra to eat those at the grocery store (same as they pay extra for brown eggs, silly people, makes no difference)
And your pictures are lovely, always welcomed.
They do! And we hatched some!Seriously? Wow I'm surprised CA allows fertilized eggs just cuz they are so silly with everything else. I didn't even know grocery stores carried fertilized eggs. Learn something new every day! Least I can check that one off my "duh" list!
All our eggs are potentially fertile. Duck and chicken. We keep a low number of boys with them. We eat our eggs and rarely incubate. We sell them too. I occasionally do get asked by some people if we have a rooster- some people will not eat fertile eggs. Some people go out of their way to find fertile for eating. Depends on the person and their food preferences. I could care less either way.Oh, so eating the fertile ones is no big deal? I might have to force myself to not think about that.
The one for-suresies rooster that we have (an OE) is a little sweet mama's boy, of course he's only about three weeks old too. I sorta suspect one of our EE's being a roo but I still have hope. Which breed would be better to keep if they are both roosters?
