California - Northern

I'll try and get some this weekend, all that is left are boys. They look like cream legbar with puffy cheeks and green legs ( thank god for the green legs!!) or just green legs. But they follow the color pattern when they grow, so if they have gray on the top and salmon breasts they are girls. Or, I hope they do.....
None of the boys have the spot, however.

I could call them almost amelias!
Shantih, so some of the chicks that I hatched from your eggs could be these? I have 3 chipmunk chicks whose legs are starting to turn green. Only one of them has really puffy cheeks.

Well, started the day with 17-5 week old chicks. Sorted out the boys/suspected boys, and I am down to 9. Much roomier in the brooder now! Have to get it down to 6 to be legal, so I am okay if a couple more aren't girls.

I need to move some one my chicks also, 3 broody boxes is pretty crazy.

Sold the other 3 bantam buff Brahma pullets today (sold a rooster with pullet last week) I had advertised on BYC. I did have 8 pullets and 2 roosters and sold one rooster and 4 hens to make room for more d'Anvers in my kennel pen. Great to meet another really nice fellow BYCer from Antioch

They went to a super nice home!

Here are some pictures I took today of the 4 pullets and rooster I kept. The four hens are from eggs sent to me from a BYC friend who bought her trio directly from John Neff and the rooster is from shipped eggs from a breeder that got his stock from Darlene Hobb's. They are super nice quality birds.

Broody waiting for some eggs . . can't disappoint her! hehehe! Picking up those blue wheaten Ameraucana eggs next week

Farewell Little Dave! The oh-crap-that's-not-a-pullet little chick went off to his new family (whose kids were thrilled). Thankfully they have chicks about the same age and they were happy to take the little man. And then my little urban flock dropped to 5. *sigh

Very nice buffs and I've always loved d'Anvers. My son had quail when he was in 4H.

Wow! With that coloring that has to be a rooster! He is just gorgeous!! With that much color at such a young age (it gets darker, brighter as they mature like his full brother) he is going to be stunning!!

Noooo! How can I choose between Sprinkles and Emma... Errr Emmet :'(
Yeah, he is really pretty though.
