California - Northern

LOL! I've been waiting, too! We are working on the pens again this Saturday and as soon as they are finished, we can separate the colors for breeding. I have been hatching a few of the eggs just for fun and to add to the egg laying flock. I currently have 2 black and 2 blue chicks that hatched this past weekend. They are so cute and really stand out in a brooder full of yellow Bresse chicks!
yes post pictures please
At some point I'll be asking all you lovely chicken people if you'd like a rooster. We have three, but plan on keeping two since they all get along.
I will trade you 2 for 10

I am hoping you have a great hatch!

Can you post pictures of the packing here:

Or at least describe the packing method. We are trying to help out with shipping eggs on that thread.

I have read some posts about the picture upload problem being fixed.

I expect we will see some more great pictures soon!

Ok, I will post a picture!

These are from my Olive Egg laying pullets. The first, smaller ones are from Crele Pene x Cream Legbar. One of the looks very blue and the others are working on getting more green onto them.

Pretty!! I love the spotted ones. I always have a hard time getting an accurate color with pictures. For some reason mine all look brown, no matter what color they are.
