They - makers of hen "aprons" - make some styles with wing protectors, too. Some are attachment accessories, some are permanent parts of the aprons.

(Apron just sounds nicer than "saddle.")

One of my hens wore her apron for four months. I only removed it to wash it when it got grimy.

This was posted on another thread and I thought that it was worth passing on. It is an interesting read but I'm questioning that these birds are really ready for processing in 60 days.

Thanks I think we may need to keep it on her for awhile. She seems to have lost some of her allure now that she wears it

It's so funny how beauty is in the eye of the beholder...she is w/o a doubt my homliest girl. she has pigment loss around her face so her pretty red is all blotchy, her wings are nekked and her back is a disaster but Ozzie finds her to be irresistable.

Well, they say twice as long as a regular chicken. Don't cornish x take 60 days? I bet he got his numbers wrong and you are right! I have read about that chicken, it is considered to be a great roaster in france. They have a different breed for every preparation!
