Yes, they will hatch.

Leave them in the turner for three days and turn it on.

See if you can get the insurance money from USPS.

i dont think you can set the eggs and get insurance back, but id check. But people have been getting money back for detached air cells. I would go ask your PO guys now and take the regs with you.

How are the Silkie girls I gave you doing? I haven't been on this thread in awhile. Hope your project is going well!

Minnie is towing a 4 week old Blue baby around right now and it doing fine. I gave Dixi away to a good home with some other bantam hens I sold because her eggs looked too close to the Silkies and I was hatching them by mistake. They wanted a broody too, so I passed her along. Of the two I bought from you, Poppi has three 6 week old chicks she is sharing with Annie, those are almost on their own now. I finally got one Partridge chick to hatch out of the pair I bought elsewhere and the Partridge hen hatched it and is taking care of it. I also hatched another bearded Partridge boy from some shipped eggs this summer, he is turning out very nice.

I have three of Poppi's almost grown children I hatched this spring/summer, two boys (looking for new homes) and a Smutty Buff girl - one step closer the the Partridge I want. I also kept a Partridge smooth feathered girl that Minnie hatched, possibly either Dixi's or Annie's kid (I suspect Dixi) - she is very cute. The project is on hold until next spring as I do not like to brood over the winter.
