Does anyone know of anywhere that has King Freedom Layer pellets in stock? Anywhere between Auburn to Fairfield out to Woodland ? That will be my driving route on Saturday and Western Pet and Feed has been out for at least 3 weeks. They keep saying they have ordered it but it isn't there yet. I keep getting the maybe next week answer.

So far the girls are doing really good on it and like it. The other 3 kinds I tried before weren't as popular.

I checked the King Feed website and there is a feed store in Galt that is listed as a Dealer

@PetRock Urch has White and Black Jersey Giants. His pdf says white Giants and Black Giants but they are Jersey Giants.

I am having the same problem.

I am going to call Hayes Feed in Woodland to see if they can get it for me. The problem appears to be with the Carmichael Warehouse, not King Feed.

Yeah the story I got when I went in there a couple of weekends ago was that they have to order large amounts of feed all at one time. Not just chicken feed, but Horse and Rabbit too, so if they run out of chicken feed they have to wait until their supplies of King feed for other animals is low enough that they will have room to put the new order in when it gets there......

They may have just been giving me a line, but still, had I known they would be running out AGAIN I would have bought more than one bag at a time.

Galt is in the opposite direction of my Bay Area tour on Saturday! You know though I may still call them and see if there is any in stock!

Sadly, Western Pet and Feed is losing a lot of customers with their policy. I am sure they can get in an order of just chicken feed. Jeremy in Winters said that he can get in the minimum amount of Feed at $14.00 per bag. He said that was doable since that would be 6 weeks of feed for him. The problem would be paying up front for it.

It does that to me too! The County section says that there is one.

I suspect it is the one in Vacaville. They are terrible if that is the case.

@capayvalleychick uses king feed but not the Freedom. I do not know how the mix works with different types of feed. I would mostly want Layer Pellets and I think Jeremy would too. I do use Starter\grower for the babies and Roosters(ok cockerels and cock birds).

We may be able to work something out in the Spring\summer. I would love to split up an order like that too.

I almost always have something hatching or growing out. Next year should be very busy.

Good morning everyone. I will have kitchen pictures today! The back splash looks amazing but the sink is not a perfect match. Still better then white however!
I did not see an answer to the question of if this order would be sexed chicks. I am guessing the answer is no.

To sex chicks you need a professional sewer and that costs close to 6 figures last I saw an estimate. So unless it's a huge hatchery or an auto seeing breed you don't get that.

Chrissy is coming to pick up chicks and my vet friend is picking up his roosters! ! It will be quiet tomorrow. And i will have a kitchen again!

Urch does not sell Sexed chicks. They are straight run so they will be Co ed.
