I think that I need to rework mine. My 2 boys are still making loud strangled sounding crows. I keep tightening the collars but I'm afraid to put them too tight. Maybe I should order one.

It makes my boys quieter. One is still quite loud though. I am going to rework her collar and see what I can do with it.

5 hatched overnight with one more with a pip. The 7th egg is not doing anything. Still 6 out of 7 moved to the hatcher is good!

He looks like a poor quality Birchen Marans(Coloring, not necessarily shape, but he should have more of a bump in the breast--so shape a bit too), an EE or a Salmon Favorelle mix.

Anyone notice if Ameracaunas are more aggressive? They are the only ones the seem to target my 5 week old chicks. They go out of they're way. Even EE I noticed seem to be more dominant in the other pen.The Marans couldn't care less. They act like the young ones aren't even there most the time.
