I warmed up a fleece hoody in ghe dryer and have him laying in it. ive been feeding him a watery mash of crumbles off a baby spoon amd hes eating iy. he keeps looking like hes trying to burp after he eats that cant be good can it?

Could they be eating when you aren't watching? I usually put a couple hot water bottles in the brooder for the first couple of days. I get a canning jar, put hot water in it (pretty hot), and make sure the lid on it is completely sealed. They I cover it with a sock, and put it in the brooder. They can cuddle up to it if they are cold. If he's eating a little bit, I would leave it alone for a while (you don't want to over feed it either). Maybe get a little box/bowl to put it in (inside the brooder) where the others won't bother it.

He might be having propblems with his crop not working right because he is chilled.

no not yet. But that's ok, they aren't due until Sat. I have great support though. Kathy has given me great help, and another wonderful lady gave me a call to give me input. Chicken/Duck people are AWESOME!
