These are Cream Legbar by Crele Penedesenca X Crele Penedesenca. I think Jason's are Crele penedesenca X Silver Ameraucana.

Next weekend I will be hatching UofA Blue X Crele Penedesenca. It will be something to see what they look like.

Regarding the hygrometer... Mine seems reads about the same as the RCOM until the lid gets condensation, then it reads 80-90%, but the RCOM never goes over 65% even though it's set to 70%, so I think there's something funny about both, lol.

I need to get a more reliable one before lockdown on the batch that is due in 2 weeks. Any one have any suggestions on a decent one that won't cost me an arm and leg?

Did you do the calibration thing with yours? My brainiac roommate did if with mine and it involved some type of salt, water? and a plastic bag.

It's been weeks since I've been on here. I always miss so much! :/

I'm getting 2 Seramas a (cockerel and a hen) from a girl from the Manteca show and I was wonder what precautions I need to take with them. They haven't been wormed or treated for cocci. They DID put frontline on them. They also said they haven't had any health problems in their flock. I'm going to put them in a seprate pen from mine on the other side of my house. How long do I keep them apart and what do I watch for? Do I treat them with anything?

My Olive Egger project chicks are 8.5 weeks old. Pullet: The cockerels look like this guy.

I love these! CLBs are one my favorites! Their not friendly enough though! Even the crosses don't want ANYTHING to do with me... But I think their lovely! My main Cock Bird is a CLB and he's stunning! I have 3 chicks (4 weeks old) I'm watching grow and they melt me each time I look at them. But they don't like me at all!
