While we are on the subject how to you pronounce "Cochin"   Ko Chin?  Ko Shin? "Ko Sheen"  "Ko Cheen"  It's been bugging me for years??????

Thanks @lawatt
for your contribution.  Sorry about your hatch.  I hope you get more than you think you will out of it!

They are called pekings in england in australia to confuse you more!

my expectations were not particularly high, so not terribly disappointed -- just amazed that anyone manages to actually hatch shipped eggs successfully!  all of my attempts, with four different breeds, have produced three chicks at best and zero at worst.

You really do have terrible kuck with shipping laura.

I feel for you I fried all my eggs last night . Mario is getting creative. The new digital control will be off not on if it breaks (they would all be fine if went down to 80 instead of up to 114.7 the hottest that thing gets) and has an alarm that will go off if it get too hot or cold. He is also looking at wattage control so it cant draw enough to fry things overnight. It is also more sensitive and can tell .25 instead of 1. Its used for kulns but a lot of people have tested it with sous vide that also needs vety precise control.

Im going to have a fluppin electrical engineering de

It is so funny going into the bantam coop the last few days. The 7 month old ORP is flirting with broody. She's running around outside clucking, if I find her inside she is growling at me. Poor thing hasn't figured out which end is up.
