I'm sure that you will get to the hatching stage sooner rather than later especially if you hang out here with the rest of us hatchaholics!!!

Well my wife was just commenting that she kind of hopes we have a rooster so we can hatch our own chicks. Would never in a million years have thought that would have come out of her mouth.

She took it upon herself to put the Dela's outside for a spell since it is dry and sunny. Of course they would rather escape the coop too and aren't grateful to be out of the box. Since the BO came they arent getting the attention and they can really scratch you now. They really grow fast. I think they are almost 15-20% bigger than last week.

Mine has put me on hatching-restriction after about 3 straight months of the 'bator running with Coturnix Quail. So, I ordered Cornish Rock and Red Ranger chicks from the hatchery to raise out.... She never said anything about ordering chicks....

4 days old. and a very odd occurrence. These are lemon orps.. but look at the pattern on this chick! None of my chicks have ever had this. Still too cute for words :p

(in a good way). I'm really hoping for a roo and a broody when I pick up my marans and legbars in 2 weeks...just have to wait and see. Or maybe I can find a used incubator for cheep...
