I really like the brown and white one for $239 I think. I just don't know about the quality without seeing it in person.

Got my parents' Murray McMurray order today. I was not super impressed. A few DOAs, and we did not get notification that it had shipped days ahead of the earliest scheduled ship date until within ten minutes of my PO calling and saying they had arrived. I couldn't find the free exotic at first because it was pinned beneath the big fat Pioneer chicks- it looks like a Silver Polish. They did also include an extra Pioneer and an extra White Rock, though. The DOAs were all Dorkings. Overall, the chicks do look good, I'm just annoyed with the shipping issue, which was totally on McMurray's end.

In other news, the feedstore had tons of little Black Sex Links in and they were so freaking cute, but I managed to walk out without getting any! See, I'm not an addict.

I got a smaller one from Costco 2 years ago (for a Serama pair). Not impressed with the quality after 2 years of weathering. Entire structure has loosened up and doors are not fitting well, external nest boxes are sagging a bit, although everything is still together and usable. We even attached the coop to a wooden frame for stability. I don't think it would do well being moved frequently, especially if it will be on uneven ground.

I'm looking for a chicken coop/tractor for 2-4 chickens. Anyone have one they really like? I have 3 big coops but need some little ones to move around. And they would be just for pairs/trios. I've looked online and like a few but can't see them in person obviously. Anyone have suggestions?
My thought would be to build one that suits your needs pedator/protection. You space requirements etc all factor in. I would think building one yourself would be preferable.

The general principles are you either collapse/disassemble the run to move or you can use the run frame as the mechanism to move the house.

The stronger the pedator protection the more likely that the run frame remains a rigid part of the design.

I would focus first on building a sturdy mobile house that is easily wheeled. That will dictate a lot of how your run is constructed. I see a lot of A frame tent versions out there. I suspect they all work fine if the worst you are avoiding are domestic dogs, cats and the occasional hawk.

I managed to pass up the Barred and Partridge Rocks they had left from the weekend at a dollar each. Cant remember the 3rd kind they had. Still about 60 or so chicks left.

This is their last week for them.

Way to go George...!!!!!
He says that he doesn't love my chickens but he loves me!

The funny thing is, now that I know that I have a sun allergy, he is outside with them more than I am. He even sits out there drinking his coffee.
