It just seems so improble I must be wrong... im not ron you know!!
I understand completely! Until they are laying I keep questioning, and every single chick is a rooster. That's why I was so surprised to have a trio of the phoenix, then I lost my little man, probably get nothing but boys from the next hatch.

Does anyone have recommendations or warnings for temperature gauges? I never see them at the feed/pet store but maybe I'm not looking in the right place.
I borrowed one for my first ones, but now I have the 3 new babies and they frequently tell me all is not right, esp in the evening, and having an actual temp reading would make a huge difference in deciding where the heat lamp needs to be. It would also be nice to have an outdoor one so I can monitor coop/run temps, too.
Thanks! Colleen

Girls

kids had ticks twice years ago. Very high on the Heebie Jeebie scale.
Is there a place that tests the ticks for Lyme disease?

Probably, but they are generally carried by deer ticks (this one was) and it's very common here in the foothills, so they just gave me the antibiotics to be safe.

Anyone know what gff's Rees cream legbars are about? I'm assuming new blood. They are more expensive. What's the hype?
