Close call last night. Did not mark 4 eggs for a different hatch date. They almost hatched while the Brinsea was turning. They're popping out like crazy!! Why I put in 4 at a different date, is beyond me. I'm writing now HATCH date on eggs, other wise its too confusing. If I put on start date, I have to do math and stuff

Oops, I thought you said Blue was recognized? Maybe this one is more lavender? She might have a black one I'll ask her. This is our first year showing as you can probably tell, lol.

Why, yes, as a matter of fact, I do have an extra black orp. She's 10 months old, also from Papa's Poultry. I got hatching eggs - most ended up cuckoo.
She JUST started laying.

This is her next to a blue orp that I got from @HighStreetCoop. She's $40.

Just a lil embarrassed to ask you that's all. But, thank you. Let me talk with the DH and DS and I'll let you know what the decision is. I'm going to be working on the coop/run in this beautiful weather this weekend. Hopefully I can get the rest of the wiring done and then to put up some plywood.
