These five are 3 White Plymouth Rock, and two RIR. Pet quality from Country Feed in San Andreas. They come from Belt Hatchery in Fresno. I have 3 Australorps from Belt that are doing very well.

I would consider it for my Brother in law your birds are beautiful. And the Dorking girls are so pretty.

Dont think I can get them for a while though. Dont wait on me Ill check later if you still have them. BTW the 2 I got are eating (mostly mash) but they havent laid since the first couple of days. Probably the move may take them a bit to settle in.

They have been having playtime with the other birds and they are scared of them now. A couple of the older birds put them in their place. Nothing serious. We are going to try haveing the pens open to each other this weekend.

They must still be a little stressed from the change. I'm getting a crazy amount of eggs here.
I love my Dorking girls from Kim. They are beautiful, talkative, good layers and good mamas/aunties.
Thank you, both of you.

Does anyone know how to do the vent color dye trick to see who's laying what?

Hold them upside down by the legs and drip a few drops of food color inside the vent.

I tried this and it didn't work very well. I tried every color and the only one that showed up was blue on white eggs. Even that was so faint that you could barely see it. Just a very very light smudge of blue on the egg. It stains their vent pretty colors but doesn't do much for identification on the eggs.

Here are Speckles (hen, on L) & GrayBird (cock, on R):

See why I couldn't resist? So pretty.
I know they're better iff with me than the feed store but I still feel badly for them because I don't have the ideal housing for them, though.

and here is Sonny-boy
Nice turkey photo-bomb there at the bottom

He has the pretty speckle feathers on top of his rump as well as below (hard to see in this pic)

Here's a couple of baby pics of him (toooo cute!)
Squee!

Look at that face...awww

Neat lacing
GrayBird is gorgeous! If I can get an aviary set up I would love to have them.

Awesome. I would love for you to have them.
I've enjoyed them but I can't give them the attention & home they deserve.
Feel free to rename them as the ones I gave them are really just descriptions.
If they are all in the same aviary together, I think SonnyBoy will need a girlfriend of his own or he'll pester Mom & fight with Dad.
If you like, I can keep my eyes open at my feedstore to see if any pretty young things show up. :)

Here's Sylvester, 19 weeks old, next to a 5G bucket for perspective. He's freaken huge. I'm actually wondering if I might need to enlarge the pop door for him, LOL! He BARELY fits through it anymore, and he has to crouch down to do so.
Wow! That IS huge! What breed is he? His feathers look very soft and loose in this picture....very cuddly looking in spite of his size!
