My friend is wanting so chicks or young pullets that will lay very dark eggs. Anyone one have any leads on finding these. The cuckoo Maran I got from mcmurrays doesn't lay very dark eggs.

1st place novice for my eldest. My little one had a harder time waiting 2 hours and then competing for 1 hour was very hard for a 7 year old. There were 3 classes for mini (5-8 year olds) and each class took an hour.

Get some black Pennedesenca from @Hangtown Farms

Black is more of a Dual Purpose version of them.

Redding guy here and i just wanted to agree with all those that said Cali is best defined as three parts, Northern, Bay Area, and southern Cali. Liking this thread by the way. Lol B-)
