Ours are in the house so 6 weeks feels like forever lol
I'm needing more of a quick fix. I tried to find something like a wireless heating pad but nothing so far...
At 6 weeks they should be good as long as you can make them dry. You could probably put out some hot water bottles after 10pm wrapped in a rag towel if you need extra heat and close them up pretty good overnight.

The youngest are only a week and a half and the oldest are 4 weeks. They are all in the same brooder and we don't want to integrate them separately so we won't be putting them out till the youngest are 6 weeks. That won't be till close to the end of next month. Usually we wouldn't be brooding in the winter but we got a late hatch. Next year we are using broody's so this won't be a problem lol

Anyone interested in some black copper maran roosters? They are hatchery birds but I went to look and and they look pretty nice. About 4 months old. Located in Stockton.

Hello everybody... I have a few pets that I keep in the coop at night and I let them run in my backyard all day...in San Joaquin County.
