California - Northern

I'm in the process of seeing if a neighbor would like them. Once I hand them off, I don't think it's fair to ask for them back. I have no idea when I'll be able to have a back yard again, if ever, and asking someone to babysit my birds on a maybe, I think, is just rude!

Oh my, I just realized where you are. We love to spend time around HMB, Pescadero, SM Memorial Park, and down to Watsonville. We looked at property around Ben Lomond a few years back when we were considering a move. It's so beautiful. I'm so sorry for what you've been through.
If things don't work out with your neighbor, Bill & I can arrange to make a day trip over your way and adopt or foster some birds for you until you're back on your feet.
Please PM and let us know how we can help.
Best wishes, PJ

If my neighbor turns me down, I'll get back to you. I'm looking at renting a room for the next year, so I would not expect my girls back. Between the mes with the back yard and the multiple messes on the roads, I'm done with the Santa Cruz mountains. I've loved it here, but I'm done with it.

Belt hatchery in Fresno. Kern

My local San Dimas Grain store gets their chicks through Belt Hatchery. They've had White Silkies, Sexlinks, Dominiques, RIR, BR, EEs, and Leghorns at the store. I've never seen San Dimas order other than those breeds so far and they grew up nice birds -- any chicks that don't sell inside the grain store are moved to a large pen behind the store's barn and we've seen the older juveniles and I wouldn't mind having any of them. I really wanted a Dominique but those juvenile pullets sold fast before I could get one. Just from the Belt stock I see at the grain store and how they look as pullets I wouldn't hesitate to get them.

I am getting 25 each of: Rhode Island Red, White Leghorn, Barred Rock, Golden Laced Wyandotte, Silver Laced Wyandotte, Buff Orpingtons, Golden Sex links, Black Sex Links, and Black Australorps, and 50 Easter Eggers, and 30 turkeys to sell at my store on March 3rd. I will also be hatching some real Wheaten Ameraucanas, and some Olive Eggers.   Kern
where is your store? Can I pre-order the wheaten amerucanas?

I'm by Santa Cruz. I'll know more about WHEN I want to hand over my girls once I solidify housing.  I want my eggs until then.... :)

They aren't hand tame, but I have carriers I can put them in and meet up someplace if need be.
I'd be happy to take a couple of your girls. I'm sorry to hear about your plight... Hang in there.

Post pictures when you get them!

I hope to be hatching some UofA Blues and some home made super blue egg layers soon. They will be TJ's hens and a UofA Blue cockerel.

I am also considering adding two cuckoo marans to get more Olive Eggers.
@ronott1, would you consider a trade? I have olive Egger ladies and would like to have a couple more blue egg layers. Will gladly pay as well.
