I am using a hose end timer. It comes on at 2 and goes off at 6. If it is still hot at 6 I will run it for longer on manual.Ron, how often do you run those? (Like what times and days?) Our birds have been pretty happy so far, but it's definitely getting worse. I've been fixing our sprinklers, so they love the freshly turned dirt... But as we're seeing triple digits so often now I've been thinking about sprinklers.
We used a Janoel 12 (fits up to 9 chicken eggs) a few times with good results. I'd like to try putting one together like they have in the articles on here next time though, then I can add clear parts for better seeing. The janoel is like watching through a cloud- especially when the hatching starts. And when seven have hatched, it's so full in there you can hardly find the last two.Hi guys, can anybody recommend a good incubator (for 6 eggs)? Thanks![]()

Yes...but it leaves so many empty places that could have eggs in them!Thank you. But I only want to put 6 eggs, can I do that?

The brinsea mini advance has had good hatches during the hatch a longs. It is a bit pricey though.
This model seems to do well with shipped eggs--hopefully you will get lots of pullets! This might actually work! Thanks Ron!
