How does she have a hard time being on two feet? What’s going on?

She would get close to the food and would sit down and start eating while laying down. The other birds around her are standing while eating, which is normal. But for some reason, she cant seem to stay standing up for a long time. Whenever she’d get water, she would be doing the same time, laying down and shes just stretching her neck to reach for water.

Try putting pressure on your chick’s pads to see if there’s any sensitivity. It doesn’t look like bumble foot, but do this to make sure it’s not just early stages without any external signs. See if you can feel anything hard in the pad that moves around.

How old is this bird? Any splayed leg issues? I found this great resource for leg problems. Read it over and see if anything resembles what your chicken is doing. It’s pretty inclusive of everything.

Shes only around 13 weeks old. I dont think she has splayed legs, she can run and walk normally when she wants to, but what worries me is she’s not like her other sisters, they dont sit regardles if they’re standing in one area. She just recently started doing this, when it was really hot.
