We go out Hawthorne a lot but will have to look for your street. Are you on the Happy Valley Farm Trail per chance? Do you have crops/eggs to sell? If so, PM me and let me know what you have so I can refer people to you during growing season. Since we just got 24 more laying hens bringing our total flock to 36 we will have all kinds of eggs for sale this spring. Let's keep in touch.

So.... I am wondering in the event one of my chickens goes broody, is there anyone close by the Bay Area that has fertile Buff Orpington eggs or any breed of the Marans? I'm really hoping to have a mama around here someday. Also I'm wondering if I do get a hold of some eggs will they all develop about the same rate? This would be so exciting. Anyone out there that has eggs? I'll file it away for when the day comes.

I'm in Livermore. Anyone want to have a pot-luck? Del Valle is a beautiful place in April and May. Flowers, warm, sun and a nice reservoir to play on with plenty of off leash dog walking areas as well.

Hello from Monterey County!

HELP!
We are moving to a temporary home for 8-10 weeks and need somebody to watch our
chickens til we get a permanent home. They are 4 hens that give at least a dozen
eggs a week (yours to keep). chicken mash, trough, and laying boxes provided. If
you have a coop or can build it yourselves that would be great. We are in a time
crunch. We are moving April 16th.
We currently live in Freemont and are moving to Tehachapi.

I will be bringing lots of started chicks to the show in Stevenson, WA this weekend. I have some chicks that are about a month old and have some that are hatching as we speak.
