Hi Everyone,

I am a new member and I live in Fremont. I have a RIR, a Partridge Cochin, an Australorp, and two approx. 8 week old EE's. I took in the easter eggers (just today) as they were not well cared for and I am hoping to give them a better home.

If anyone has a line on a BCM or two, I would love to add one or two to my flock.

My Cuckoos, the ladies... are English,
the ones I'm getting tomorrow are French. (Cree lines)
my roo is English.

I'm going to be breeding the French ones to BCM to try to get Goldens...
thats the plan.

Mine came from Santa Rosa, BTW.

The cuckoos are not silver, just French. I'm perhaps going to breed to GET golden. Just taking on someones project. She got them in san Martin ca. I'll know more tomorrow pm. She is moving and can't take her whole flock.
My english are from a local breeder in Alamo.

OK, now you have me really confused...there is only Silver and golden Cuckoo Marans...Cree is a short drive from me here in WA state.
So you have French Cuckoos and they are not silver, and they are not golden, you must mean they are BCMs ?
I would love to see your project, I almost did the very thing (Golden Cuckoos) a while back.
Now I have a fantatsic Feather-shanked (and some toes) Silver Cuckoo Marans.
So they are French, (feathered shanks)
I had a Golden Cuckoo Cockeral, but he got sick and died

was very sad..good luck with your project !
