The little chickie isn't all be itself... It's with 8 other chickies that are different breeds. I picked up the 8 the week prior, but I wanted some cochins so we got the little one. I would like more than 1 cochin (partly in case one is a roo, and also because they are so cute), so that is why I'm looking for more around the same age or up to 3 weeks since my oldest babies are just going on 3 weeks this week.

Hi Everyone! Im new (but you probably guess that), so new that I dont even have chickens...yet. Ive been on this website all day getting ready for the big day tho. Im a bay area native but moved to Tracy two years ago. Since I came to Tracy DH and I have been talking chickens but we think we are finally ready to take the plunge. Yay!

Welcome to the world of chickens! I just started in October, so I am relatively new, too. This is a great place to get ideas and advice!

Oh yes indeed, very addictive. It's like chocolate but worse cuz it's more accessible. You don't have to get dressed and go to the store to get BYC. It's just right there, all the time. LOL.

I started with 4 and now have 58 and breeding 3 breeds! LOVE IT!

Edited..... oh and the 70 eggs in the incubator
