Are you on facebook? They have a page where you can get all the latest info. Just search for The National Heirloom Exposition to bring up their page.

Ron & Kim,
My experience as I remember it on the Dorking eggs was that they were yolk at egg topsy time which is normally a few days past hatch date. Mine were mailed out of Texas.

Welcome new Debi...........You will enjoy this group I am sure.
Too bad, you just missed the Fresno show too. It was alot of fun & smaller than Stockton. I think Bakersfield is coming up soon but I am not driving that far.......There is a 4H show in Turlock on the 18th of March & I think Angel's Camp's 4H show is not too far past that. Turlock's is a decent size & Angel's Camp's is smaller.

My son & I are out setting up more breeding pens & for my chickens ( the Delawares this time) & peach bins for 4 new varieties of Quail I am having shipped from Colorado. I am so impulsive. It just never ends.....LOL
Here come Mountain Quail, Valley Quail, Bluescale Quail & Snowflake quail. If I drop dead somebody is going to have alot of work to do around here......LOL

Thanks for the welcome.

I think Bakersfield might be a bit too far. And since I retired a year ago, I think I'm past the 4-H show stage. I was actually a 4-H poultry leader though in the 90's. My son showed at both those shows too when he was in 4-H.

Thanks again,
Deb

Hi everyone again,
The class that Walt is giving is scheduled for March 25th a Sunday. If you plan to go do you want a 1/2 day class, a full day class or what & do you intend to bring birds with you.? Please report & vote to the "Poultry Breeding & Showing Class in Sonoma County CA" thread that Kim (CapaValleygirl ) started for this purpose. Sorry I don't know how to hyperlink it to you.
Kim wants to learn about breeding & I want to learn about showing & breding & what to look for & how to evaluate my birds & anything else I can glean from his knowledge while I am there.....LOL

Kim has a hyperlink to it posted up above.
