Oh and I apologize about non pic posting. I have no internet yet at my house so I'm using the site from my Droid. Which dosent allow me to post pics for some odd reason. We should start a BYC/mobile app or something for the users in the boondocks with no computer????
You can PM me to exchange phone numbers and I can text message pictures if you'd like no problem! See yaa!
Oh la la!! Very nice! This is for Ron!

The Basques are AMAZING! I can't say it enough! Especially for a newbie like me.. They're great with kids too! I'm planning on hatching some in September if you're still interested!Quote: All these Marraduna Basques are making me want one! eesh! Love them!
Thanks for the Offer Jeff! The closet ones I have now are the Marans, and I should wait about a bit for them. They are 16 weeks old and I should wait until 18 to 20 weeks for them.Need to have any chickens processed??
I will likely process the birds I have anyway even if I have to pay the $5 per bird, but I'd love to bring the cost down. I just don't have time and space to do it and I don't want to move them to my new property since they were exposed to ILT. The roos are crowing and I can't have them here... So, I'll be processing on Thurs or Friday. If anyone wants to get in on it, it would only be $2.75 per bird if you have 7 birds. If you have less just add 10 and divide into 50 to get your price per bird. legit chicken math there.Send me a PM if interested and willing to meet me in Sac with your chickens on Thurs or Friday. Thanks all and hope I find someone with roos or chickens destined for freezer camp!!

Hi Debi,Cute! I have one cream legbar pullet. She is a sweetie!
My Legbars Cockerels have been crowing for several weeks. They started at about 9 weeks old. My EO Basque will be 14 weeks old this week and they don't crow yet. The Marans started but at 15 weeks they sound like little babies. It is a hoot to hear them!yeah my little Crele Pene rooster (barley 4 weeks is crowing like the big kids)
You have a great looking Flock! Thanks for the pictures! Is it mean that this makes me giggle?
I cannot wait to see my Orps fill out and get giant sassy butt! hehe
It's great to hear he is doing well up there! He is a good boy and should make a great Rooster for you.Hey peeps!
Just wanted to let everyone up north know I have 3 bantam chicks up for adoption. I believe they are OEGB but could be some black chested something. I'm not to good at calling breeds yet.
But... they are all feathered out, they are really healthy and super active.
The reason I'm giving them up. I just got them a few weeks ago, I didn't realize I'd be getting more birds as quick as I have, (duh...lol) but now I have on top of the original 2 golden sex links, 4 RIR and a very handsome dorking/americuana (Thanks to Ron!)I just placed an order for 10 Barred Rocks and 15 jumbo Cornish cross. Lol SMH Crazy!
Well I don't really think its fair for the 3 little bantams to be bossed and bullied around by the bigger chickens. I've seen 2 of the younger RIR pullets chasing the bantams around. Must be adolescent tensions or something but I would like to find a home for these guys before it really gets croweded for them.
I have a few weeks before its crunch time and they HAVE to go so if anybody has any room or upcoming spots in there coops for these chicks, your more than welcome to them.
Im in Anderson, right outside of Redding.
I have these little ones on craigslist as of today, up for trade for anything chicken related (bedding, feed... etc) but since I was blessed with a very nice rooster from Ron, I'd be more than happy to give them up free of charge to any BYC member near enough to swoop them up!
Like I said I have a few weeks before they really have to go so I'm not rushing.![]()
