Thank you so much for the offer of the quail. I told Johnny's sister about them but she's going to stick with the ones she has. I really appreciate you thinking of me! The kids I nanny and I go to the Lindsay Wildlife Museum all of the time! We LOVE that place (and it's right down the street!)
These are the five colors of quail that I hatched. Sorry the pics are a bit blurry, but after I uploaded them and saw them, I didn't want to drag the little things out to reshoot.
I got the typical white, chipmunk, dark with light head stripes. But I also got a yellowish/buffish color with chipmunk markings and a reddish overall color.
I can't remember what all was supposed to be there other than A&M & Jumbo. What did I get?

I use the liquid kind, and it works well. I don't use powdery stuff (unless I have to) because I don't want to risk inhaling it- but either kind should work.Quick question for those of you that have Corid: Do you prefer the liquid or powder kind? Amazon has two options - Corid 20% Soluble Powder or
Corid Liquid 9.6%. My guys don't have Cocci but I want to have this just in case. I'd prefer to mix it with water so what kind do you think is best?
Speaking of Corid, how are Copper and Hope doing today Amy Beth?

I had one of each kind of chipmunk looking quail hatch. There were a lot of the bright yellow ones too although I can't remember if there were reddish-yellow ones as well. I was told that the eggs were mostly Texas A&M but there also could have been goldens, Tibetan, and Jumbo Brown eggs in there. I'm so happy you had a good hatch! Congrats.. They're so cute!!
