There's a little left over! Food art isn't my thing but it sure tasted really good. It's very light with the tangy of the blackberry curd.

Thanks Ron for the recipes. Next I want to try the lemon curd!

it was an exciting afternoon here -- first free-ranging chickens <--> cats encounters! and all was well -- no stalking or pouncing occurred, mostly everyone ignored everyone else. one of the marans (now all of 10 weeks old) actually attempted to charge at henry, my black cat, and he ran away (briefly).
i didn't quite feel comfortable enough to leave them all alone together to get my phone, so this picture was taken once all the chicklets were back inside the coop -- it's turned out to be such a lovely place to hang out! one of the cats (sophie) caught a mouse a little while ago, and carried it down to the coop to play with and then eat it -- the chicklets all watched with utter fascination.

Mine is installed and works but I need to get the good hose to it. I hope the chickens figure it out soon
