Monsterclucker-- I will try and take a picture tomorrow! A lot of critters' hollowed out so many but we salvaged a few.


So I was watching my 2 rabbits in the outdoor play pen dust bathing in the dirt when I hear quail making peeping sounds. I look over and this Cooper's hawk dive bombs them and a male quail tries to flee but the hawk quickly chased it and snatched it.

Then the chickens got scared and ran under cover. Later I saw the a Kestrel following the Cooper's hawk who was following a Red Tail hawk.

I bet there were some hawk swear words...

You can get custom feed. You have to purchase a lot of it though. The cascade feed will give you a discount but you have to buy it in tons. They have a truck that will send it down to you. chicken keepers upYou could contact one of the feed mills and see how much you would need to buy and then maybe co op with the there. I bet Papa Brooder could use a couple of tons with 400 chickens.

The eggs from your chickens are the best! A lot better than store eggs.

Yep by boss is borrowing the incubator he gave me for a few weeks so no eggs for me. Though I probably have room for chicks as always.

I need to finish the OTHER LOL temporary coop and run for the new additions or I would like to get them this weekend. Probably next but I will chew on it more tonight and tomorrow.
