California-Southern

If you are on Facebook there is also a group called California Poultry People. It is a great group to join. :)

I have 5 layers I will be selling this season to make room for the new chicks I'm keeping.

2 - BRLWs $45 each
1 - Giant Cochin (Buff almost laced in appearance) $45
1 - Black Sexlink $20
1 - Buff Orpington $20
All girls are laying well this spring and they are from last years keepers. So not more than a year old, but more like 10 months old.

I also have straight run English Orpington chicks available Hatch date 3/10:
2- Splash $20 each or $35 for both.
1 - Chocolate $20
3 - White $30 each or $75 for all three.

I have some newly hatched 3/27) White Ameraucana and Marans straight run chicks that I may have available too, but I have to work through my waiting list first to see how many chicks I might have available.

I won't be bringing my layers to the meet up unless I have a buyer for them. As far as the chicks go I haven't decided yet. It will depend on how much room I have and level of interest.

Hi Camp Julsby!
I would definitely be interested in your Black Sexlink and your Buff Orpington! Sounds like exactly what I need for my flock right now!
I can get them from you at the meet-up, or even sooner if we could arrange that :)

Miss Jen send me a message and I am sure we can hook up sooner if you'd like. I live in Crestline and go to Redlands every weekend it seems so it would be a quick and easy place to meet. Too bad we didn't plan this out better as I was there today.

Hi Froggiesheins,

Is the new store near the meet-up? Do you happen to have the address for it? I checked online and found multiple locations, so not sure where the new one is.  Thanks.

OK Peeps, Tractor Supply Center is AWESOME!!!!!!! The store will be open on April 12th from 8AM till 8PM so you will be able to do both meet-up AND TSC!!!! :yesss:
TSC 2195 Hamner 92860 915/735-2216
At the corner of Hamner and 5th (after leaving the meet-up) turn right and it will be 2 1/2 streets down on the east side of the street. Easy-peazy!

PEEPS: for your viewing pleasure, this is Blackbeard the EE/AGF roo. He is 1 1/2 yrs old and will be coming to the Norco meet-up looking for a forever home. He comes from a BLUE egg laying line and even the crosses were laying blue eggs! SO, if you bred him to EE's .......
He is an awesome looking fellow. Please PM me if you want any info etc....

One of the things I find so funny is how scared people are of chickens that have been very handled and are very tame. Some friends of mine think nothing of handling a dead and over processed chicken from the grocery store, but think a live and healthy chicken is yucky. So odd.
