Thanks for the reply and the addition warning. The addition warning came to late. I'm already trying to decide when and what type chickens I should get next. I wonder where I could put a second coop???????

I am fairly new to southern CA and have an order of goslings due to arrive soon. In the past, I have started goslings on Purina Flockraiser as recommended by the breeder. So far, I haven't been able to find that feed locally (western Riverside county). Does anyone know where I can buy it?

Do a search for California NPIP. I believe it is through the state.

I have yet to find any purina feed in my area (including feed stores near my work in Redlands/San Bernardino area. You may want to contact the manufacturer. They will have a list of suppliers in your area (if there are any).

NPIP, looks like from google there's going to be some kind of gathering here in San Diego in August.

I'm not sure what it's all about, what do you get by being NPIP certified / trained? What do you learn?

Just curious,

Susan
